Nova Tools is operated by Nova Technologies, a digital agency based in Kenya. We provide free, browser-based AI image editing tools including object removal, background removal, image editing, and colour picking. No account or sign-up is required to use the tools.

3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service to:
- Upload images that are illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, or infringing on any third party's intellectual property rights.
- Process images of other individuals without their consent, including the removal of identifying watermarks from copyrighted content you do not own.
- Attempt to overload, hack, or disrupt the Service or its servers.
- Use automated scripts or bots to access or interact with the Service at high volume.
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose that violates applicable law.
4. Intellectual Property
Your images: You retain full ownership of all images you upload. By uploading, you grant Nova Technologies a temporary, limited licence solely to process the image and return the result to you. This licence expires when your files are deleted (within 20 minutes of upload).
Our content: All other content on this website — including text, design, logos, and code — is the property of Nova Technologies and may not be reproduced without written permission.
5. Image Processing & File Deletion
Uploaded images are stored temporarily on our servers solely for processing. All uploaded and processed image files are automatically and permanently deleted within 20 minutes of upload. We do not retain copies of your images, nor do we use them to train AI models or for any other purpose.
You are responsible for saving your processed images before the deletion window expires. Nova Technologies is not liable for any loss of image data.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Nova Technologies does not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- The results of the image processing will meet your expectations or requirements.
- Any errors in the Service will be corrected.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nova Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed KES 0, as the Service is provided free of charge.
8. Third-Party Services & Advertising
The Service displays advertisements provided by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and collect data in accordance with its own privacy policies. Nova Technologies has no control over the content of third-party ads.
Our blog may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
9. Copyright Compliance
You must only upload and edit images that you own or have the legal right to modify. Using our tools to remove watermarks, logos, or credits from copyrighted material you do not own may constitute copyright infringement and is strictly prohibited. Nova Technologies is not liable for any misuse of the tools by users.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
